Inside Miller & Carter after months of transforming grade II listed building into trendy steakhouse

After months of renovation work, a new steakhouse has emerged as Miller & Carter finally opens to the public.

After months of work, the steak restaurant, which has replaced the Harvester following its closure in August, has thrown its doors open today (November 28) to eager customers.

Jay Rossie, general manager, said: “The transformation from the former Harvester has been remarkable, and the team and I are thrilled to unveil our stunning new look to locals. We hope everyone loves it as much as we do.

The restaurant will offer seating for 240 customers, alongside an additional 80 on the outdoor terrace which provides waterfront views.

Jay added: “This conversion is not just reinvigorating one of the most iconic buildings in Portsmouth we’re also giving it a new lease of life for many years to come.

“We can't wait to share our passion for perfectly prepared steaks and our field to fork philosophy with new guests. We’re sure we’ll become the community’s new favourite steak restaurant.”
