Look inside Hampshire artist Jennie Maizels' huge new 'sustainable' family home - built between the New Forest and South Downs national parks

PHOTOS have revealed a stunning new family home built between two national parks in Hampshire.

The incredible property in the village of Braishfield was designed by Hampshire-based Snug Architects and its owner, illustrator Jennie Maizels.

It sits about three miles north of Romsey and is nestled between the New Forest and South Downs national parks.

The home is made of two pitched-roof structures joined by a single-storey glass pavilion and has been hailed for its use of sustainable materials, including Kebony.

Used to clad the property, the Norwegian technology sees non-durable wood soaked with a liquid derived from agricultural crop waste to make it much stronger.

The total cost of the new build has not been shared but sources say Kebony can cost between £30-£60 per square metre.
