Tickets now limited: Family-friendly fun doesn’t come bigger or better than Goodwood Revival 2024

Goodwood Revival
Even if high octane motor racing fuel doesn’t run in your veins, there’s plenty of family-friendly fun to be had at Goodwood Revival. Here’s the pick of the bunch.

Think Goodwood Revival and fast cars, revving engines and chequered flags come to mind, right? Well yes, there’s all that and more at this jewel in the summer calendar.

Firm favourites and newbies alike will enjoy this event where iconic cars meet glamorous vintage fashion fashion, in this glorious celebration of heydays.

But while there is plenty of four and two-wheel action to be had, here’s a glimpse of the lesser-known fun in store at the Goodwood Revival weekend, September 6-8:

Take a walk on the Wild West side

The main entrance has had a makeover … it’s time to dust off your Stetson and kick those cowboy heels and say “howdy” to Wild Westhampnett. There’s a saloon, roaming sheriffs, line dancing and more. With photo ops galore, this is a whole lot of fun – dress up and enjoy!

Ferris wheel fun

The sky’s the limit at the vintage fun fair this year, where kids of all ages (including young-at-heart adults) will adore the helter skelter, rides and fun fair favourites. Don’t miss out on the spectacular views from on top of the ferris wheel, where you can see the full spectacle of revival.

No need to be 17 to drive

New for 2024 is the Betty Richmond Driving School, which offers wannabe motorists of all ages to get behind the wheel in the 1950s style driving simulators … there’s no lower age limit so all are welcome to have a go, though height restrictions will apply.

The Best Dressed Competition

One of the most loved parts of Revival is the fashion … go all out with your spectacular vintage look and you could go home with a prize. Whatever decade you opt for (or even cowboy classics) prepare for style to make you smile. Own it, wear it, and dare to be different…you might just be picked out of the crowd to be a Best Dressed competitor!

Super Sunday

And the wheel has turned full circle and we are back to the heart of Revival – the cars. For most people this is the best day of Revival weekend, with wheel-to-wheel racing in the adrenaline filled RAC TT (arguably the weekend’s most popular race) and, at a slightly slower speed, the Settrington Cup pedal car race – perfect for the kids.
