27 cracking snaps as crowds brave abysmal weather to take part in Christmas Pud 5k fun run

Organised by the Gosport Rotary Club, the run welcomed huge crowds of people, all dressed in whacky costumes, to raise money for multiple charities including Rowan’s Hospice.

Taking place on Sunday, December 7, the Stokes Bay fun run managed to raise a staggering £2,000.

The club wrote on Facebook, saying: “Thank you to everyone who supported today's Christmas Pud 5k at Stokes Bay. It was rainy, it was windy, but almost 200 hardy souls braved the elements.

“The atmosphere among the participants, marshals and spectators was heart-warming; all coming together in the toughest conditions to contribute to an amazing community event.”
