Beach boys
Here we see three local lads, two of whom went on to have careers on the railway and became drivers.
On the left is retired driver Roy Terry who loaned me the photograph. We then have his mate Dave Alan, while on the right is retired driver Len Warboys. Len became a prominent member of the Aslef union and was well-known in railway circles.
To the rear you can see two booking offices for coach tour companies. On the left is the Victoria Coaches booking office and to the right is the Triumph Coaches office.
