‘It will be a pleasure to spend the afternoon together and hear some of the stories from the past nine decades.

‘We will all have a wonderful afternoon in honour of HM the Queen’s landmark birthday and, at the same time, give our own nonagenarians a tea party to remember.’

Marks and Spencer is kindly providing cakes for the event, which takes place on Monday, June 13 from 2.30pm at Ferneham Hall.

If you or someone you know has a 90th birthday this year and would like to come to the tea party, please contact the Mayor’s office on 01329 824303 or email [email protected].
