Chichester hairdresser-turned-writer receives national nomination

A WOMAN who decided to share her advice for modern dating has been short-listed for a national award.

Hayley O’Hare, from Chichester, is nominated for Dating Writer of the Year at the 2016 UK Dating Awards.

The 29-year-old released her first book Tinder Tactics – a tongue-in-cheek guide to finding love through the dating app Tinder – in September. She said: ‘This is all quite out of the blue and a huge success story as I have no writing experience at all.

‘The dating culture is massive and I’m certain my little book would make the perfect gift for a single relative, friend or Secret Santa present.’

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London on November 17.
