80-year-old targeted by fake water board official
Between 4pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday, November 9, a man called at a flat in Medina Road and told the OAP he was from the water board and needed to check the water pressure.
As he spoke to the victim, another man entered the flat and stole £360. The two then left and walked off together towards Cow Lane. One was white with a strong Northern Irish accent, 30, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and with an oval face. He was clean shaven with dark brown curly hair, and wore a blue denim jacket.
