A27 lorry overturning sparks police appeal for dashcam footage showing 'poor driving'

Emergency services were called to the crash at around 4.30pm yesterday.

The incident took place between the A2030 turn off near Farlington and the A3M, and caused long delays after three lanes were blocked.

A statement from Hampshire police said: ‘We were called just after 4.30pm to a report of a collision involving a car and a goods vehicle.

‘Two people reported minor injuries and officers attended the scene.’

Officers hope to hear from witnesses who may have seen the incident or have dashcam footage.

A tweet from the police said: ‘We are keen to see any dashcam footage from anyone on the A27 today between Portsmouth and Havant that shows poor driving of either a VW Passat or Ford Fiesta.’
