Accused drug smugglers deny cocaine trafficking in Solent

Three men have pleaded not guilty to importing a medicinal form of cocaine into the country.

Benn Bath, 32, of Gibbons Rise, Staplehurst, Kent; Joshua Paige, 27, of Cardigan Close, High Halstow, Rochester, Kent; and Milos Bigovic, 29, of Pozarevac, Serbia, today appeared at Winchester Crown Court charged with importing the class A drug cocaine hydrochloride in April 2020.

Bigovic is also accused of possessing the drug with intent to supply on April 26, 2020.

The three defendants entered not guilty pleas to the charges and Judge Andrew Barnett adjourned the case for a further hearing on August 14.

They first appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court after an investigation by the National Crime Agency into drug trafficking via the Solent.
