Accused Gosport burglar to be kept in custody until next court appearance

A WOMAN charged with burglary and breaching her criminal behaviour order is being remanded in custody until her next court appearance.

Rebecca Trudy Connelly, 29 of no fixed abode, was charged in connection with a burglary in Victoria Street, Gosport, on November 12 – where £260 in cash was stolen.

She also allegedly breached her criminal behaviour order by begging for money in Victoria Street on the same day, which she is prohibited from doing so under the conditions of a court order imposed on November 22 last year.

On Monday Connelly appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court for a hearing on this case.

Now, she will be kept in custody until her next court appearance, which will be on December 14.
