All-terrain vehicles stolen by masked men from Hedge End Golf Centre overnight as police hunt thieves

THIEVES have stolen a pair of all-terrain vehicles during a night raid at a golf course.

The burglary took place at Hedge End Golf Centre over the weekend.

Masked men got on the premises and stole two John Deeren Gator all-terrain utility vehicles, which are green, yellow and black.

Hedge End police said the automobiles were pinched between 11.40pm on Saturday night and 3.30am on Sunday morning.

They added the criminals escaped out of the gates of the Upper Northam Road premises.

A statement added: ‘The first Gator – slightly smaller vehicle carrying empty red/brown crates – was stolen at 0.10am, and the second Gator (vehicle with empty white container) was stolen at 3.25am.

‘The direction of travel was out of the gates onto Upper Northam Road and then a right turn into Upper Northam Close towards the Motorway Underpass.’
