Arrests made after teens, 19, were viciously beaten by a gang in Farlington

The assault took place shortly before 6.50pm on Saturday in Lower Farlington Road, Farlington, Portsmouth.
The two 19-year-old victims were ‘badly beaten by a group of others’ as they ‘stood near their vehicle’, police said.

Hide AdBoth were taken to hospital for facial injuries, police said. One of the teenagers was discharged while the other is still undergoing treatment.
Following the attack, police issued a plea for help from locals, handing out flyers urging for anyone with information to contact them.
Hampshire police said detectives made a rapid breakthrough in the investigation and arrested three people in connection with the attack.
A spokesman for the force added: ‘As part of our investigation an 18-year-old man from Portsmouth has been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm. He remains in custody at this time.
