Assault man must pay
MAGISTRATES have ordered a man to pay compensation.
William Scobie, 18, was found guilty of battery in Gosport when he appeared before Portsmouth magistrates.
He assaulted his victim on July 5 last year, but was in court last month.
Scobie, of South Street, Gosport, must pay £150 compensation.
No victim surcharge was imposed because of his financial situation.
Scobie must pay back £10 per fortnight from June this year.
