Bail after '˜arson' fire

Police said a ‘suspected arson’ was being investigated after the fire in Waverley Road, Southsea, at 11.30pm on Friday.

A 29-year-old man, of no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of arson reckless as to whether life would be endangered.

He has now been bailed until January 11, a police spokesman said.
