Police were called to Gundymoor Woods near Havant and South Downs College’s South Downs campus in College Road, Crookhorn, at 1.02pm yesterday to reports of a sudden death.
The force has now confirmed that a man in his 20s had died.
Witnesses reported that part of the bridle path was closed off by officers on Tuesday afternoon.

Hide AdA police spokesman said: ‘His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers at this time.
‘His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file is being prepared for the coroner.’
