Emergency services, including police and ambulance, were spotted in Fawcett Road earlier today, close to the junction with Lawson Road.
A Hampshire Constabulary spokesperson said: ‘We were notified by the ambulance service of a sudden death of a woman at a property in Fawcett Road, Southsea.

They added that the woman was in her 40s.
There are no suspicious circumstances and the file has been passed to the coroner.
