Boy, 17, stabbed twice in back after mass brawl in Portsmouth

A TEENAGE boy is in hospital after being stabbed in the back twice during a mass brawl in Portsmouth.

The incident happened in the early hours of this morning in Meadowsweet Way, Wymering.

Police were called to reports of a group of people fighting just after midnight.

A 17-year-old boy was found with two stab wounds to his back and was taken to hospital.

His injuries are described as serious but not life-threatening.

A 16-year-old boy from Fareham has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

He is currently in police custody.
