Boy, three, fighting for life after falling from window as four arrested

Officers attended South Front in Southampton on Wednesday around 6.30pm following a concern for the welfare of a child who had fallen from the three-storey block.

Hide AdTwo women, aged 26 and 45, and two men, aged 29 and 45, were arrested on suspicion of assault/ill-treat/neglect/abandon a child/young person.
Giving an update on the probe, a police spokesperson said: “All four people have been released on conditional police bail while our enquiries continue. Their bail date is December 4. The boy remains in a serious condition in hospital.”
A spokesperson previously said: "We were called at 6.35pm on Wednesday 4 September to a report of the concern for the welfare of a three-year-old child at an address on South Front in Southampton.
