The police were called at 04:19am this morning (August 8) to a report that a 21 year-old man had been seriously assaulted and stabbed by another man on Brighstone Road in Cosham. The victim was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
At around 11:00am this morning as part of the police enquiries, a 20 year-old man of no fixed address was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.
