Car ploughs into a wall during crash in London Road, North End, with police and paramedics in attendance

POLICE and paramedics have been scrambled to a crash on a busy road in Portsmouth.

Emergency services were called shortly before 3pm today to the incident in London Road, near Battenburg Avenue, North End.

A silver Volkswagen Polo smashed into a wall, narrowly missing a bus stop.

At least three police cars are in response, supported by a paramedic crew from South Central Ambulance Service.
