CCTV hunt after teenager stabbed repeatedly in Portsmouth street

POLICE are scouring the site of a stabbing for CCTV that may have capture the 'concerning attack'.

Several men grabbed a 19-year-old man and tried to force him into the boot of a car in Bradford Road, Somers Town, on Friday between 2pm and 3.15pm.

He fled toward Winston Churchill Avenue and was stabbed multiple times in his arms and legs.

No arrests have been made but Hampshire police have said it was an isolated incident.

Today a spokeswoman said: ‘Investigations are ongoing.

‘Officers from the neighbourhood team will be making CCTV enquiries in the area and speaking to residents this afternoon, so if anyone has any concerns, they can go and talk to them.’

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries.
