On September 3, between 2am and 3am, a man rowed over to a pontoon at Swanwick Marina before boarding a boat and stealing the engine. The engine was taken from a tender attached to the Dale Nelson boat.

A spokesperson for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, said: “As part of enquiries, we are issuing a CCTV image of someone we would like to speak to – we know this is not the clearest image, however we are hoping that someone will recognise the individual, or perhaps may have seen him in the area or has any information to assist our investigation.”

Do you recognise the man in the CCTV image, or do you have any information about these incidents that may assist the police?
