Concerns raised as police follow bus in Waterlooville playing recorded message: “This bus is under attack please call 999.”
Concerns raised of a bus being attacked
Police were alerted after a bus was seen driving along with a recorded message blazing out saying: “This bus is under attack please call 999.”

Locals were left concerned after two police cars and an ambulance were spotted behind the bus on Stakes Hill Road in Waterlooville on Wednesday morning.
One worried parent told The News: “My Daughter and friends on the way to school witnessed a bus pass them on Stakes Hill Road playing a recorded message of ‘this bus is under attack please call 999’.
“One of her friends was about to, when they noticed two police cars and an ambulance following it.”
But the incident turned out to be a false alarm, due to a fault with the bus. A police spokesperson said: “We were called about this, but there was no incident and it appeared to be a fault with the bus. The driver was taking it back to the depot.”
