A DRINK-DRIVER has been banned for a year.

Ross Buckmaster, 39, of Elm Close Estate, Hayling Island, admitted drink-driving on the A3(M) on December 10 last year. A test revealed he had 45 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, more than the 35mg legal limit.

He was fined £100 with a £30 victim surcharge and £100 prosecution costs to pay.

He was banned from driving for a year. Portsmouth magistrates rejected his claim that his drink had been spiked.
