Drink thief avoids jail
A WOMAN who stole drinks from a shop has narrowly avoided prison.
Kim Johnson, 31, of North End Avenue, North End, admitted taking the drinks from Co-op on July 25 in Portsmouth. Magistrates imposed a 21-day sentence suspended for a year due to her previous convictions.
She must pay a £115 victim surcharge after taking drinks worth £19.24.
