Family pay tribute to much loved father and grandfather who died in fatal crash on Hampshire road

A FAMILY have paid a heart-felt tribute to a man who tragically died following a collision on the M271.

David Stephen Joseph Sullivan, 64, of Eastern Road, Wivelsfield Green, West Sussex, was pronounced dead following the four vehicle collision on the morning of Tuesday November 17.

A statement from his family said: ‘Dave, beloved husband to Wendy, father to Kathryn and Tom, stepfather to Laura, Adam and Craig, grandfather to Ross, Sophie, Jack, Ivy, Isaac and Lucy.

‘He will be very sorely and sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.’

David was driving his Citroen Relay when he was involved in a collision with a heavy goods vehicle, Nissan Navara and Mercedes Vito van.

Following the incident a 32-year-old man old man from Southsea was arrested and later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
