Fareham police disperse 'large group' during break-in at Holly Hill Leisure Centre

POLICE have dispersed a group of around 15 people suspected of breaking into a leisure centre.

Officers were called to Holly Hill Leisure Centre, in Sarisbury Green, after reports of a group committing anti-social behaviour in the centre’s car-park at 8.40pm yesterday.

The large group was found congregating in the car park, before dispersing when officers were spotted at the scene, according to a spokeswoman from Hampshire Constabulary.

She added: ‘Attending officers established that entry had been gained to the leisure centre, and items of food and drink were stolen from inside.’
