Flasher jailed after using alias

Kevin Lambert also used an alias without telling police, breaching his sex offences prevention order.

The 30-year-old, formerly of Highland Road, Southsea, has convictions for exposure dating back to 2012 and 2015.

Sarah Jones, prosecuting at Portsmouth Crown Court, said Lambert had 66 convictions for 123 offences, many for vagrancy.

He previously breached his notification requirements as he did not tell police where he was living.

‘It’s the same for the three breaches of notification requirements,’ the prosecutor said.

‘He simply did not keep in touch with police.’

She added: ‘The defendant had assumed a false name that was effectively below the radar as far as they were concerned.’

Howard Barrington-Clarke, for Lambert, said he was using his mother’s maiden name to move on with his life.

He said Lambert had difficulty registering with police as he is homeless.

Lambert admitted five counts of breaching notification requirements, and two counts of failing to surrender.

Judge Ian Pearson jailed him for seven months.
