Gang of yobs beat defenceless girl outside Fratton Community Centre in sick online video

The attack took place last night outside the Fratton Community Centre, in Trafalgar Place, Fratton.
A gang of ‘five or six’ teenage children were seen kicking, punching, spitting and pulling the hair of another youngster as she cowered on the floor, begging them to stop.

Hide AdFootage of the sickening assault was shared on Facebook last night but has since been removed.
In the brief video clip, a teenage girl can be seen handing the mobile to another youngster urging them to ‘make sure they get a good’ recording.
The gang of squawking yobs are then seen chasing down and surrounding their victim before jeering at her and launching their prolonged attack.
The video stops as horrified staff from the community centre charge out to break up the violence.

Hide AdSpeaking to The News, a source at the community centre said all staff were shocked by the incident, which took place at about 6.30pm on Monday.
‘They were in the car park, the girl was having her hair pulled,’ they said.
‘It was disgusting to see. It was horrifying. It was just really horrible.
‘The victim was crying afterwards. She didn’t have any injuries that we could see but she was really shaken up.’

Hide AdPolice were contacted by staff from the community centre, The News understands.
A 14-year-old girl has been arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and criminal damage.
She has been released under investigation.
A Hampshire police spokesman said: ‘We are investigating a report of an assault on a girl on Trafalgar Place, Fratton, just before 6.40pm yesterday. Enquiries are ongoing.’
