Gosport man admits £700 burglary at Portsmouth jewellers store

A MAN has admitted burgling a jewellers while serving a sentence for burglary.

Nicky Russell, 40, of Parklands Close, Gosport, admitted stealing items worth £700 from The Gold Centre in Commercial Road on March 1.

At Portsmouth Magistrates' Court on Saturday he admitted breaching a 12-month conditional discharge for a non-residential burglary on November 3.

Portsmouth magistrates bailed him to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on July 10.
