Gosport meat and cheese thief jailed for latest spree of shoplifting

Aaron Cruickshank, 35, of Gosport, was sentenced to 22 weeks in prison for three thefts earlier this month.
The thefts included stealing around £170 worth of products from Boots, High Street, on April 10.

Hide AdThree days later Cruickshank raided the Co-op in Palmyra Road of meat and cheese worth £57.
On April 19, he again thieved meat and cheese from the same Co-op – this time worth £16.50.

The sentence also included 10 weeks activated from a suspended sentence.
Cruickshank, of Solebay Road, previously admitted six shoplifting crimes at Portsmouth Magistrates' Court in September. These included stealing a Hoover, food and headphones.

Hide AdOn that occasion city magistrates imposed a 16-week jail term suspended for six months.
As reported in April last year, Cruickshank was previously jailed for stealing toys.
