POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist has sustained life-threatening injuries.

At around 7am today (July 12) a 65-year-old man came off his white BMW motorbike at the Percy Hobbs roundabout on the A31 near Winchester.

A statement from Hampshire Constabnulary said: ‘He had been riding with two other motorcyclists at the time of the incident and we would like to establish the circumstances of what happened.’

Police would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident and in particular any motorist who may have dash cam footage of what took place.
