Hampshire police appeal for witnesses over abandoned BMW connected to assault

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after an abandoned car was discovered which they believe is linked to an assault.

An abandoned black BMW was found on Crouch Lane in Waterlooville on Tuesday evening.

A statement from Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘Officers investigating an assault now suspect the vehicle to have been involved and are hoping to speak with any witnesses who may have seen the vehicle on Crouch Lane that evening.

‘We are particularly keen to speak with two cyclists who briefly spoke with officers at the scene.’
