Hampshire police hunt man after wallet is stolen from car in Havant

POLICE are hunting this man after a wallet was stolen from a car.

A thief snatched the wallet from the vehicle – parked in Newbarn Road, Havant – on Friday, January 3.

The crook got away with £160 in cash. A credit card was also stolen and used at a convenience store and a fast food restaurant, police said.

Hampshire Constabulary has urged anyone who recognises the man to call them on 101, quoting 44200009406, or phone independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111

Police have since warned people to lock their vehicles and ensure valuables are not left inside.
