Steven Appleby, 46, of Clarence Road, Gosport, admitted assault by beating on July 8 in Waterlooville.

Magistrates imposed a community order with 20 days of rehabilitation activities and 60 hours of unpaid work.

The criminals jailed in Portsmouth courts last month

Bailey Fowler, 19, of Fir Copse Road, Waterlooville, admitted having cocaine, a class A drug on September 2 in 2017.

Magistrates imposed a six-month conditional discharge with £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs to pay.

Shane Fudge, 28, of Lords Street, Landport, admitted making a malicious communication on September 22. He was jailed for eight weeks.

He must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

A restraining order bans him from Liverpool Road.

Shane Wright, 31, of Priorsdean Crescent, Havant, admitted two charges of assault by beating on September 1.

He was jailed for 10 weeks.

Emma Robertson, 30, of Oracle Drive, Waterlooville, admitted stealing two window cleaners from B&Q worth £140 on March 15 in Portsmouth.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge with £20 victim surcharge and £85 prosecution costs.

Darren Snarey, 32, of Grateley Crescent, Havant, admitted two charges of failing to comply with sex offender notification requirements.

Magistrates imposed a 28-week prison term suspended for a year.

He must pay a £115 victim surcharge.

Michael Bose, 46, of Fawcett Road, Southsea, admitted stealing DVDs worth £100 from WH Smith on April 21 in Havant.

He admitted fraud at CEX on the same day, and breaching a conditional discharge.

He also admitted stealing a Bose charger from Knight & Lee on April 18 in Southsea.

Bose was found guilty of stealing £72.50 worth of alcohol from Tesco on April 20, and admitted failing to turn up to court on August 24. He was fined £50, and must pay £72.50 compensation with £85 prosecution costs.

Magistrates imposed a community order with six-week tagged curfew between 8pm-8am. He must pay £35 compensation.

Sarah Johnson, 24, of Bishopsfield Road, Fareham, admitted stealing three handbags worth £109.97 from TK Maxx in Fareham on August 24.

Magistrates imposed a 12-month conditional discharge with £105 costs.
