Investigation launched after four cars set on fire in Fareham retail park

FOUR cars were set on fire in an arson attack at a retail park this morning.

In the early hours of today, four cars were torched in Speedfields Retail Park off Newgate Lane in Fareham.

Firefighters were called to the scene and an investigation is underway.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service said: ‘The call came in at 1.20am and we had two appliances from Fareham that attended.

‘They were at the scene until 2.18am. Nobody was injured. An investigation is ongoing in conjunction with police.’
