Sheldon Jeans fled after kicking his victim in a ‘sustained’ assault that was partly premeditated.
Drugged-up Jeans, 29, of Hazelwood Avenue, Bedhampton, admitted assault by beating on November 29 last year, and inflicting grievous bodily harm on December 8. Both incidents involved the same woman.
At Portsmouth Crown Court, judge Timothy Mousley QC handed Jeans 28-month term for the GBH, three months on top for battery, and three months concurrent for damaging the phone. In all he was sentenced to 31 months.
A five-year restraining order bans Jeans from contacting the victim.
