Lee pensioner getsfive-year ban

A PENSIONER has been handed a suspended jail sentence after being caught more than three times over the limit.

David Knox, of High Street, Lee-on-the-Solent, admitted drink-driving at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

The court heard it was the 79-year-old’s third offence within 10 years and there was an accident, with his driving described as ‘poor’.

He received a 17-week prison term suspended for two years.
