Police were called to Spur Road at 7.17am today and officers remain at the scene.

Investigations are underway into the cause of the man’s death.

Body found near Cosham Library in Portsmouth

Police in Cosham after an area by the library was cordoned off this morning.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called at 7.17am today (July 3) following a report of the body of a man found at the rear of Cosham Library.

‘Officers are in the early stages of this investigation and enquiries are ongoing at this time into the exact circumstances of his death.’
