Live updates as police launch raid and searches in Newgate Lane, Fareham

LARGE numbers of police officers are executing a warrant in Fareham.

Officers and the ambulance service have been seen Southern Water’s Peel Common water treatment works this morning.

Police have cordoned off the entrance to the waste treatment works.

Around nine officers and eight police vehicles are present.

A Hampshire police spokesman said: ‘All I am in a position to confirm at present is that officers are conducting a warrant and some searches in Newgate Lane, Fareham.’
