He is also pleaded not guilty to carrying on regulated activities, in relation to engaging in an investment business, when not a registered or exempt person between the same dates.

Dressed in a smart two-piece suit, white shirt without a tie, and his hair slicked back, Kimmence spoke only to confirm his identity, British nationality, and deny both charges.

Now he is due to go on trial for up to four days on June 29.

Kimmence, of Rayleigh in Essex, was bailed to appear at the same court for the trial.

The defendant has been dating Love Island star Dani Dyer, 23, after she split with 2018 ITV2 series co-winner Jack Fincham, 28, around 10 months after winning the dating show.

Recent reports suggest Kimmence and Dani Dyer may soon marry.

Adjourning the case, judge Roger Hetherington said: ‘Mr Kimmence in due course you must put in a detailed defence statement setting out what is your answer to the allegations made in the case.

‘You must attend your trial. You have the right to give evidence at your trial.

‘If you fail to attend your trial it may proceed in your absence.’

He added: ‘Meanwhile you have your bail as at present, the trial is adjourned to the 29th of June.’
