A MALE pensioner was ambushed in a car park and robbed of his watch by a woman who police are now hunting.

The 68-year-old victim from Clanfield was approached by a woman aged 20-30 in Petersfield Heath Common car park, Sussex Road, before he was assaulted and had his Phillipe Nautilus watch stolen.

The man had been waiting to leave the car park when the incident happened between 2.15pm and 2.45pm on Wednesday December 2.

‘The suspect then made off into a silver car, which drove east on Sussex Road,’ a police statement said.

‘Officers have conducted a number of enquiries and are now turning to the public for help.

‘Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you recognise the woman in this e-fit image?’

The woman is described as around 5ft 6in tall with a slim build and short brown hair. She was wearing a puffer jacket, trousers, a dark blue hat with a brown bobble, and glasses.
