Man, 59, remanded in custody to appear at court over sexual assault

A MAN has been remanded in custody to appear in court over allegations of sexual assault.

Mohammed Salam, 59, from Hangar Road, Tadley, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.

One count is in relation to an incident in Basingstoke on Friday August 26, while the second count relates to an incident in Tadley the day before.

Salam appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates’ Court on Thursday September 1.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Winchester Crown Court on Wednesday September 28.
