A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called at 8.23pm with reports of a disturbance at an address in Queen Street.

‘Police attended and arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of criminal damage, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

‘He remains in custody at this time.’
