Man arrested on suspicion of assault after incident at The Crown Inn Wetherspoons pub in Fareham

A MAN has been arrested after an assault at a Fareham pub.

Police were called to The Crown Inn in West Street on Sunday afternoon.

Officers arrested a 26-year-old man and he remains in custody at this time.

A spokesman for Hampshire Constabulary said: ‘We were called just before 3pm yesterday (August 9) to a report of an assault at a pub in West Street, Fareham.
