Man due in court over repeated shoplifting
A man has been charged with shoplifting £400 worth of items from a popular shopping centre and breaching his Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
This follows a series of incidents at stores across Southampton between 3 April and 23 April, including Co‑op stores in Ocean Village, Archers Road and the High Street, as well as John Lewis in West Quay Shopping Centre.

Police said: “During these incidents, a man is reported to have entered the stores despite being prohibited from doing so under the terms of his CBO, before selecting items and leaving without making any attempt to pay. In total, approximately £430 worth of alcohol and other goods were taken.”
Kieron Slack‑Travers, 29, of Millbrook Road, Southampton, has been charged with eight counts of theft from a shop and eight counts of breaching a Criminal Behaviour Order.
He is set to appear at Southampton Magistrates’ Court.
