Man must pay out over two racist assaults

A MAN has been ordered to pay nearly £1,500 for two racist assaults.

Paul Price, 53, of Hampage Green, Havant, pleaded guilty to racially-aggravated assault by beating.

Price committed the offence in Purbrook Way, Havant, on October 24 last year.

He was fined £500 and must pay £300 compensation. Price must pay £85 costs and a £50 victim fee.

He also admitted racially-aggravated assault by beating on the same day on another man. Price was fined £500 for this offence.

Price appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to the offences. His guilty plea was taken into account when he was sentenced.
