Man named after being charged with drug possession and supply in Portsmouth - here's when he will appear in court

A MAN has been charged for drug offences following a police investigation in Portsmouth.

Stephen Gomes, 30, from London, has been charged with two counts of being concerned in the supply of class A drugs of cocaine and heroin.

He has also been charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug and possession of criminal property.

It comes after police arrested two men on March 3.

Gomes, who appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates Court this morning, has been remanded in custody and will appear at Portsmouth Crown Court on April 6.

A 64-year-old man from Portsmouth who was arrested by police has been released from custody but remains under investigation.
