Man taken to hospital with head injury after being pushed into wall and punched into wall - appeal launched

The police have launched an appeal after a man was taken to hospital with a head injury after being pushed into a wall.

During the incident, which took place outside The Arrow public house on Shakespeare Road, Eastleigh, the victim – a man in his 30s – was punched and pushed into a brick wall. The victim required follow-up treatment in hospital as a result of the injury sustained to his head.

The man that the police would like to speak in connection with this incident is described as a white man in his early 40s, who is shorter than 5ft 10ins. He is bald and he has a tattoo on his right wrist. He was seen wearing a navy blue tracksuit bottoms with a white strip down the side of the leg, a jacket wrapped around the waist, black Nike trainers and sunglasses.

The police believe the man in this image can help with the investigation and they are urging him, or anyone who knows his identity, to get in touch with them.
